Pastoral Care

Ripley Court School is renowned for the way it cares for every child. We want our pupils to be happy and motivated.

To achieve this, we offer a warm family atmosphere within the school community. Our small class sizes and relationships that are firmly established between the children and the teachers help our children to feel safe, nurtured and valued. This gives children confidence to be able to express themselves, seek support when needed and excel. We recognise and nurture the talents and interests of each child and value their contribution in the class on the playground or on the sports field. There are frequent opportunities to celebrate both effort and achievements.

Our pupils are at the heart of all we do at Ripley Court School, we support them in becoming confident, resilient and compassionate learners who embody our values of Perseverance, Aspiration, Curiosity and Kindness.

 Our motto, Non Nobis Solum (not for ourselves alone) reminds us of our commitment to those around us. We teach children to be kind, charitable citizens who are aware of the world around them.
Ripley Court was rated as excellent for Pastoral Care in the 2012 ISI inspection.
