Admissions FAQs
What are your main points of entry?
Normal entry ages are:
The Nursery (Children join the Nursery in the term of their third birthday).
Reception (Age 4+) and
Year 3 (Age 7+).
Limited places are available in other year groups for September and mid-year entry; please contact Tracey Mangold for further details.
In the nursery, children often start on a part-time basis, attending a minimum of three of the ten available sessions. They can build these up to full time as they gain confidence.
How and when do I apply?
Providing a space is available, we accept applications to Ripley Court School throughout the year.
Please contact Tracey Mangold on registrar@ripleycourt.co.uk or 01483225217 to arrange a tour and a meeting with the headmistress.
Following which, we will invite you to complete a registration form.
What is involved in an assessment?
All children are invited for a "taster" morning to meet the Headmistress with their parents.
Taster mornings are tailored to the age of the child, and may involve some reading, writing, spelling, and maths.
Does Ripley Court School offer scholarships?
Academic, Sport, Art and Music scholarships are available.
Scholarships are available from Year 3 – Parents should follow the normal entry procedures and request that their child be considered for a scholarship at that point.
Further details are available from the Registrar.
Does Ripley Court School offer bursaries?
The School offers financial assistance in the form of bursaries which are means-tested. More information regarding bursaries is available on request - please contact us on 01483 22517 or email us.
