Forest School
Court Rangers' Forest School offers our children the opportunity to develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning in our superb woodland environment.
Activities include cooking over an open fire, climbing trees, making dens, and using tools to make natural crafts; they take on challenges and solve problems. Our children learn to take appropriate risks safely, be responsible and take care of themselves; we instil care and concern for the World from a young age.
Forest School is a big part of EYFS (Nursery, Transition, and Reception) life but continues all the way through to Year 6.
"Forest school deserves lots of praise; I could see the children were having a fantastic time and learning some great skills."

“Forest School is a simply fantastic way of introducing life skills, confidence and self-belief at such a young age. I loved seeing them use tools, make fires, and not scared to get dirty, it was what being a child is all about in my eyes!
